The skills reflect the sporting capabilities of the Dogamí and will be key in the upcoming game (DOGAMÍ Academy). There are six of them:
Levels represent the current effectiveness of the Dogamí in each skill. These values are used to define the outcome of each obstacle in DOGAMÍ Academy.
Each skill level can progress over time. You can move a skill to the next level by earning enough corresponding skill points.
The ranks reflect the potential of a Dogamí in a given skill. Contrary to the levels, the ranks will remain the same.
When generating the NFT, each of the six skills is assigned a rank (from highest to lowest: S, A, B, C, D and E).
Each breed has a pre-defined skill profile, which determines the initial rank of each skill. This balancing will be done with a dog expert and a game designer to ensure both realism and fairness.
However, to create diversity, each Dogamí obtains an extra rank on some random skills. The number of boosted skills depends on the rarity tier.
The ranks determine the starting value of each skill level as well as its maximum value. They also determine the speed of evolution of each skill (by applying a bonus of skill points after each related training and after each level up).
The skills balancing may change in the future to optimize the game experience.
