The skills reflect the sporting capabilities of the Dogamí which are key in DOGAMÍ Academy. There are six of them:
They are used to define the movement speed of a Dogamí during races. For example, the swim determines the speed in swimming pools, while balance determines the speed on balance beams.
Values represent the current effectiveness of the Dogamí in each skill. They can range from 1 to 999. They are used to calculate the speed of movement.
All skill levels increase automatically with each level up, but the player can also train their Dogamí further in one or more specific skills.
The ranks reflect the potential of a Dogamí in a given skill. Contrary to the levels, the ranks will remain the same.
When generating the NFT, each of the six skills is assigned a rank (from highest to lowest: S, A, B, C, D, and E).
However, to create diversity, each Dogamí obtains an extra rank on some random skills. The number of boosted skills depends on the rarity tier.
The rank of each skill then determines its minimum and maximum value, meaning its value when the Dogamí is level 1 and its value when it is level 50. These values are randomly drawn at Dogamí generation according to the table below.
The balancing of skills is subject to possible future changes.
Let's take an example, with the generation of a Silver Italian Greyhound:
Step 1 - We take the basic data for this breed. The Italian Greyhound has excellent velocity, decent jump and balance, but other skills are much lower.
Step 2 - The extra ranks are then randomly assigned. Since the rarity tier is Silver, we distribute three boosts.
Step 3 - The final ranks for each skill are then obtained. The Dogamí was lucky, it got an extra rank on its velocity which was already at rank A, so it moves up to rank S (the maximum rank).
Step 4 - Using these ranks, additional random draws are made to obtain the minimum and maximum values for each skill.
