$DOGA Bridge

🚨 READ CAREFULLY: Please note that all bridging infrastructure described herein is operated by third-party providers. As such, we cannot guarantee the security, reliability, or functionality of these services. Users should exercise caution and conduct their own due diligence before utilizing any third-party bridging solutions.

Three native variants of the $DOGA token exist ($DOGA Polygon, $DOGA Tezos, $DOGA Ethereum). A bridge allows you to swap the native variants between the chains seamlessly. In addition, a fourth wrapped version of the $DOGA exists that can be bridged from Polygon to Solana via the advanced tooling of Wormhole's Portalbridge.

This feature was deployed when the DOGAMÍ platform became multi-chain in 2023 and is operated by a third party called zkCross.

The bridge works by locking tokens up on 1 contract and releasing them on another. This means, that when you bridge your tokens from $DOGA Polygon to $DOGA Tezos for example, they are locked up on the Polygon side and unlocked on Tezos' side.

Bridging always occurs on a 1:1 ratio. There are never more tokens emitted and the supply is not diluted.

Why would I hold both $DOGA Polygon and $DOGA Tezos?

Holding $DOGA Polygon allows you to trade on larger decentralized exchanges (DEX) such as Uniswap (through MetaMask for example) and therefore benefit from more conversion offers, access the largest blockchain gaming ecosystems. Holders of $DOGA Tezos can also trade on exchanges CEXs and DEXs that are Tezos-compatible.

$DOGA Polygon is received when users swap their in-game rewards from COSMO - the token rewards received when playing DOGAMÍ Academy in PvP.

Tezos users who prefer to hold and use $DOGA Tezos and can continue to trade it Gate and use DEX's like QuipuSwap, Spicy Swap etc.

Bridging from $DOGA Tezos to $DOGA Polygon incurs some minimal fees that go to the service provider (TeraBlock). There is also a minimum swap amount of 1000 tokens whether you bridge from Tezos to Polygon or vice versa.
